Real-World Example – Palletizer in a Logistics Center

In this example, we connected a palletizer that deconsolidates cartons from pallets into totes, integrated directly with the customer’s SAP system.

Automatic detection of cartons on the pallet using a 3D vision system
Carton data such as length, width, height, and weight are sent from SAP to the robot via data telegrams
The robot sorts the cartons into totes automatically and space-efficiently
Packing information for each tote, such as carton count, is sent to the robot via a data telegram
Stored cartons are automatically reported back to SAP
Automatic request for a new tote
Run time, downtime, and completed orders are all visible directly in SAP
